Al-Anon & Al-Ateen in Birmingham, Alabama Alcohol and Drug Rehab Centers are a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share our experience, hope, and strength, in order to solve our common problems. We believe alcoholism is a family illness, and that changed attitudes can aid recovery with drug rehab centers. Al-Anon is not allied with any sect, political entity, denomination, centers, organization, or institution; does not engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes some cause. There are no dues for membership of our drug rehab centers. Al-Anon is self-supporting through its own voluntary assistance. Al-Anon has but one purpose: to help families of drug and alcoholics. We do this by practicing the Twelve Steps, by friendly and giving comfort to families of alcoholics, and by giving understanding and encouragement to the alcoholic. Equally, Alateen is our recovery program for young people. Alateen groups are sponsored by Al-Anon members. The only constraint for membership is that there is a problem of alcoholism in a relative or friend suggests our alabama alcohol and drug rehab centers.
