Aletheia House - Men's Residential in Birmingham, Alabama Alcohol and Drug Rehab Centers offers numerous residential and outpatient substance-abuse treatment facilities, as well as affordable sober-living options for low-income communities. In addition to substance-abuse treatment for adult men and women in gender-separate drug rehab centers programs, it provides HIV prevention services and employment support for adults, and community services for kids and teens. Medical detox services are not provided.
Treatment & Assessment
The men’s residential program at Aletheia House treats men with long histories of addiction, joblessness and/or homelessness. The alcohol and drug rehab centers program includes individual, life-skills training, group, and family counseling, and links to other relevant social services, employment assistance, and housing assistance. The Power to Change program is an outpatient program that also offers housing assistance, with a focus on helping men to achieve their goals and live healthy lives. It does this by offering life-skills training, healthy-living classes including substance-abuse classes and HIV prevention training, individual counseling, stress management, transportation, employment assistance and referrals to other social services in our drug rehab centers. The Hope for Heroes program treats veterans, and offers substance-abuse treatment, employment readiness training, placement services, and housing assistance including some placements in permanent housing. Rural treatment services provide individual and group counseling and linkages to social services for individuals in remote communities in several counties in alabama drug rehab centers.
